MY STORY
I am a linguist and language consultant based in New York City, specializing in translation, dialect coaching, cross-cultural communication, and copyediting. I received my master’s degree from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where I focused on the intersection of language acquisition with systems of exclusion. My expertise lies in assisting individuals and organizations bridge linguistic and cultural gaps, enabling clearer communication and fostering inclusivity. I am fluent in Spanish, Italian and French – and am currently learning Arabic!
My passion for language extends beyond professional work, as I am also a poet and essayist. I’m also a yogi, musician, belly dancer and language nerd. Both my creative and academic pursuits are deeply influenced by my own complex relationship with racial identity, where themes of sexuality, love, loss, and belonging take center stage. Every aspect of my education and lived experience informs my consulting practice, where I not only emphasize linguistic accuracy but also pay great attention to all of the cultural and emotional nuances that language carries.
